英國曼徹斯特都會大學講師John Hyatt主張在Rossendale Valley住著在動畫以及電影中廣受世界各大社群廣為人知的傳說生物：妖精！

John Hyatt還提出了他所拍攝的照片作為佐證，看起來確實頗像是《小飛俠》中出現的妖精Tinker Bell！有手有腳又有翅膀。
